All dogs must be fully vaccinated and should be on a regular tick, flea and heartworm control regime.

All dogs being walked will undergo a trial period to ensure that they are adequately trained and socialized. Heidi's Happy Hounds reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time & with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the walker. We also reserve the right to transfer a dog from a regular private walk, to a training walk temporarily if needed.

All dogs will be exercised on-leash. Exception is for our group walks. This will be heavily discussed during our initial meeting.

The walker will apply personal judgement and cut short a walk, or cancel it, if necessary because of extreme weather conditions (heat, thunder storms, sever snow warnings, freezing rain) for the safety of both the dogs and the walker. The client will be notified if this happens. During times of sever weather cancellations fees will be waived.

If dogs require a toweling off after walks towels must be provided and left by the front door.
